launches Powerful Quotation Management System

Adapt
Software IAP India Private Limited, the Indian
arm of the US-based CRM major ADAPT Software
Applications, Inc., after introducing a CRM
application and customer service portal designed
and customized especially for Indian SMBs, has
now launched a powerful quotation management
system - Quotation Pro+. |
It is a perfect tool that SMBs can
use to assemble orders quickly and generate
quality looking sales quotes and proposals
on-demand for complex products. This enhances
the proposal and quoting management practices as
it minimizes the iterative work and the
associated time-wastage. As a result, the sales
force can now focus more on business development
rather than generating quality proposals and
quotes.
The Quotation Pro+ module allows
them to convert their quotations to invoices,
price-lists, catalogues and more as and when
required at the click of a button. Existing
invoices can be used to generate new quotes for
repeat business or similar orders. They can
write, view, print and email their quotations
with complete ease for they are generated in the
MS Word, PDF or HTML format. Further, text
lines, terms and conditions, etc. can also be
added to explain

the offer, set discounts, surcharges or
apply freight charges. One can apply a discount
using a percentage, or a fixed amount.

Quotation Pro+ supports the competitive
bid sales process and complex activities
associated with long pre-sales phases. One can
make changes, save and re-modify saved quotes
time and again as per the changing customer's
requirements. The entire quote can be copied if
one is bidding the same specs to multiple
customers. The quotes generated can also be
tracked on the basis of their status-open, won,
lost, etc., for the purpose of follow-up and
analysis. The report feature of this module
alerts the users towards the quotes that have
not been accepted such that they can be
followed. It provides ready access to
information on previous bids and proposals for
the proposal manager and his team to utilize
this knowledge for the current bids.
