Adapt Unveils India-Specific Software for SMEs

By ChannelTimes Staff
Chennai, May 11, 2005

Adapt Software India, the Indian arm of the US-based Adapt Software Applications, has announced the launch of the latest version of its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, Adaptcrm, targeted at the SMBs.

Ashish Kamotra, CEO, Adapt India, said, "Adapt CRM will provide an option to the Indian small and medium companies to enjoy a true enterprise class CRM solution at an unmatchable price, thus offering greater value for money and higher ROI."

"We have used our initial year of presence in India to actually understand the requirements of Indian SME segment which has accepted the importance of CRM yet has a very conservative approach towards its adoption. Our study revealed that something that would excite Indian SMB should be easy, inexpensive, and scalable yet incorporate all the features that would automate all their existing functions," he added.

Adaptcrm is designed so that there are no menus to learn. According to the company, users with basic knowledge of Windows can operate it easily without any exhaustive training sessions typical of other enterprise-class CRM applications. The sales, marketing and service modules can be integrated together along with ERP application, financial, and accounting packages, mail client, and all other popular office applications from multiple vendors giving businesses the ability to have a 3600 view of the customer.

In case of Adapt CRM, deployment of average 20 concurrent users including software, services, hardware and maintenance would cost about 50% of the other enterprise class CRM solutions with similar capabilities.

The company stresses that in case of Adaptcrm, the deployment cycle is much shorter as compared to that of other enterprise solutions with similar functionalities Adaptcrm now offers customization that's source code free and is highly table-driven with provision for adding fields without changing the data structure.

What is the potential of this software for SMEs?
